These Ghosts!

Two years after Chains of Olympus, Kratos is back on PlayStation Portable always at the hands of Ready at Dawn and has little to envy to the counterparts for the older sister. The story is less pompous - this time focused on the memories of the lost brother and set between the first and the second episode - but on the side of playability all the pieces are in place. The mechanism remains faithful to the combo system that redefined the genre years ago and has added some weapons to make it all a bit 'less stale, as well as a new toolbar that allows you to flash their blades. The mixture of blood and metal that emerges is explosive, thanks to the fluidity of the fighting, though on a reduced scale, are always exciting. Indeed, Ready at Dawn has cleverly solved the problem of the size of the screen offering focused on fighting a few enemies at once, making it all less chaotic.

The only drawback of a game that otherwise seems to flow like oil, even in sections platform consists of the quick time events, often frustrating because of the timeframe in which to react pared to the bone. The adventure far exceeds the handful of hours, with frequent save points to meet the short sessions of play typical of portable consoles. Then you can also try to increase the power-ups in the arena of arms or 13 in the challenges of the gods. A fun and challenging way that satisfies the senses and even the eyes, thanks to the technical implementation of impact that is imposed as the best currently available on PlayStation Portable. There are still problems related to the fixed camera - the biggest enemies hide part of the scene - but these are situations for the most sustainable. It offers no new ideas to push the franchise beyond what it is, but certainly proves to be a required purchase for fans, unless you have full the pockets of Kratos and his companions.

Raffaele Cinquegrana

Pros: immediate precise control system, various attacks and combos, excellent technical realization
Replay Value: good. 13 challenges of the combat arena and give a hard
Cons: quick time events at times frustrating, with the original dropper
In Summary: God of War: Ghost of Sparta is one of the best action game available PlayStation Portable. Do not miss
